On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a local host and taken to your hotel. Get settled into your room in preparation for an epic adventure, or set out and explore the grand boulevards and quaint barrios of Argentina's vibrant capital city. Day 2Buenos AiresBuenos Aires Sightseeing: Walk in the footsteps of the portenos on your exploration of the exquisite sights of the "Paris of South America". Wind your way through the city past the grand, pink Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, bold and bright La Boca and the cobblestone streets of grand San Telmo. Stare in awe at the famous Teatro Colon and pay homage to Eva (Evita) Peron in the final resting place of Buenos Aires' most noteworthy residents, the elegant Recoleta Cemetery. Day 3UshuaiaBuenos Aires - Tierra del Fuego National Park - Ushuaia (2 Nights): An expedition through the extraordinary landscapes of Patagonia begins today as you fly to the world's southernmost city, Ushuaia. Upon arrival, embark on an exploration of the dramatic landscapes of Tierra del Fuego National Park with a Local Specialist, delving into the depths of its beautiful scenery with its waterfalls, glaciers, forests and mountains. Take in the wildlife that inhabit this spectacular environment like red foxes, woodpeckers, steamer ducks, condors, eagles and beavers. Within the park, come face to face with the biological richness of Tierra del Fuego Island and its incredible scenic beauty, views over the Beagle Channel at Ensenada Bay, the glacial waters of Roca Lake and the deep Bay of Lapataia Bay. Day 6El CalafateLos Glaciares National Park Excursion: The day is dedicated to a deep exploration of the striking Los Glaciares National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its exceptional natural beauty. Touring with a Local Specialist, you'll come face-to-face with its arctic blue and white glaciers that are fed by the massive South Patagonian Ice Field, milky coloured glacial lakes and towering snowcapped peaks. Discover the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, which towers above the icy waters of Lake Argentino. You could perhaps witness massive igloo icebergs plunging into the lake with thunderous force. Experience the rugged solitude of the windswept steppe and the quiet southern beach forests before heading back to El Calafate for an evening spent at leisure.Full Breakfast
Day 7Torres del Paine National ParkEl Calafate - Torres del Paine National Park (2 Nights): Travel this morning from El Calafate along the Patagonian Steppes giving way to the veritable granite spires of Paine which are the main features of this extraordinary National Park that has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Join a Local Specialist to delve behind the scenes of Torres del Paine National Park's extraordinary natural frontier land. Wander past cascading waterfalls, roaring creeks, shimmering lakes and jagged mountain spires. Your afternoon in the park will feature the Torres towers seen from the eastern region. Observe cyanobacteria with stromatolites formations at Laguan Amarga before stopping at Blue Lagoon. Lady Florence Dixie, the intrepid Victorian-era British traveller and author, first spotted the Torres del Paine peaks, naming them "Cleopatra's Needles" in her 1880 book, Across Patagonia. Day 8Torres del Paine National ParkTorres Del Paine National Park Sightseeing: Continue your in-depth exploration of Torres Del Paine, venturing deep into the heart of the park with a Local Specialist. View stunning landscapes from scenic outlooks, embark on short hikes to see natural landmarks up close and enjoy a lake cruise to Grey Glacier dodging icebergs calved by the glacier. Stops along the way include Puente Negro (Black Bridge) crossing the Paine River, Nordenskjold Lookout, Sarmiento Lookout, Lake Pehoe and Salto Grande waterfall. After enjoying an alfresco gourmet box lunch, choose to hike along the southern shore of Lago Grey until a point where you can gaze down at the icebergs that have plunged in to the lake or embark on a narrated Catamaran boat trip across the length of the lake to imposing Grey Glacier, which tumbles down from the massive Southern Patagonia Ice Field. Day 9Puerto NatalesTorres Del Paine - Puerto Natales (2 Nights): Follow your Local Specialist on the famous "W" Trail that stretches from the picturesque northern shores of Lake Nordenskjold, named after a Scandinavian explorer who probed much of the region in the early 20th century, to the snowcapped Monte Almirante Nieto that anchors the southeastern extreme of the Paine Massif, past pebbled beaches, rugged steppe landscapes and Andes shrublands. After lunch, visit the Milodon Cave, an impressive cave of 660 feet (201 metres) where evidence of a giant prehistoric ground sloth, now known as a Mylodon, was found by German Explorer Hermann Eberhard. There is also evidence of prehistoric human habitation within Cueva del Milodon, dating back as early as 6000 BC. Your base for the next two nights is the colourful fishing town of Pueto Natales on the Seno Ultima Esperanza, set against the backdrop of Patagonian steppes leading up to snowcapped mountains in the distance.Full Breakfast, Lunch

Take some time with a Local Specialist to explore the impressive glacier with a hike through unspoiled, cool rainforest landscapes to Seno Ultima Esperanza ("Fjord of the Last Hope") where you will see the rest of the Southern Patagonian Icefield, the incomparable Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, where you'll enjoy lunch.
